Diver Trainer (MSDT) 

 

To follow Master Scuba Diver Trainer preparation, you will be able to teach specialty courses to other professional divers. So why not combine "fun" and "progress" as a new instructor? And if you have very little time but still want to experience some of our best dives in Bali while becoming a seasonal instructor, this is the program for you!

 
 

MSDT Preparation Program

In our special 4-5 days Master Scuba Diver Trainer preparation program you will be able learn to teach some of PADI's most popular specialty courses through hands-on teaching experience. You will notice that as an MSDT, you will have significantly more employment opportunities as you will be a much more versatile instructor and therefore more valuable to dive centres worldwide.

You will have to present a topic in each specialty, then brief and teach a skill in open water to your fellow candidates. It is also a fun program as you will have a chance to dive the Liberty wreck in Tulamben and some other truly spectacular dive sites in the north of Bali.
 
Our MSDT preparation program is scheduled after the Instructor Exam, so it is a low-stress experience when you can sharpen your teaching skills and gain more confidence as a new instructor.
 
The IDC PLATINIUM package will provide you with the 5 specialty qualifications required for your MSDT: wreck diving, night diving, deep diving and aerial diving, similar to Nitrox. After completing the IDC program, you will need to obtain MSDT certification, will issue 25 certifications (at any level).

 

Standard MSDT Program Schedule

Day 1: Orientation and teaching presentations (classroom)

 

Day 2: Transfer to Tulamben, two dives on the Liberty wreck, one night dive, overnight in Tulamben

 

Day 3: Two deep dives and one drift dive, return to Sanur

​

In addition classroom, 6 training dives and your Specialty Instructor Guides, our special MSDT program includes the following :

​

  • all transfers free

  • lunch on all 3 days free

  • one night shared accommodation in Tulamben in twin rooms free

​

Other Specialty Instructor courses are also available on request, even outside our regular IDC schedule and on an individual basis, so please contact us about your specific interests.
